Staff Accountant
NASCO is a Japanese company in Bowling Green, KY manufacturing suspension coil springs, trunk lid torsion bars, and transmission disc springs. We have an immediate opening for an experienced Staff Accountant for 1st shift.
Job Summary: The incumbent is responsible for performing general accounting work and maintaining accounts receivable, fixed assets and other company assets. He/she is preparing and adjusting journal entries, keeping customer records, issuing invoices, collecting and recording payments, and posting monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals.
II. Job Authority
Posts monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals
Issues credit and debit memos to customer
Sets up customers with payment terms and credit lines
Other authority as assigned or delegated.
III. Duties
Essential Duties:
Performing account analysis and reconciliations
Issuing and transmitting invoices through EDI or other customer approved means of communication
Receiving customer remittances and cash transfers and apply to receivable
Maintaining selling prices in the systems in collaboration with sales department
Preparing and posting credit memos and debit memos
Communicating with sales and customers on issues related to accounts receivable
Taking appropriate measures to collect delinquent receivables
Recording fixed asset purchases, depreciation, and dispositions and tracking assets
Preparing documents and reports for audits
Preparing various accounting and managerial reports
Other assignments as directed.
Non-Essential Duties:
Attending internal meetings with sales, shipping and other departments
Filing and record keeping
Other non-essential duties as assigned or required.

Four-year Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or finance or

Machine Operators
Positions require individuals with a mechanical background, excellent trouble shooting skills, as well as experience with preventative maintenance activities. Experience setting up computer-operated machinery and performing quality checks as well as having a high school diploma or GED is also required. Previous farm or auto mechanic experience demonstrating mechanical ability is a definite plus.
Mechanical Engineer

NASCO is a Japanese company in Bowling Green, KY manufacturing suspension coil springs, trunk lid torsion bars, and transmission disc springs. We have immediate openings on 2nd and 3rd shift in our Mechanical Maintenance department.
This position will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting all machinery as well as preventative maintenance as required.
Essential duties include operating cutting torches and plasma cutters, monitor machine movement and make adjustments, welding with both mig & arc welding, operate lathe, milling machines, and surface grinders, monitor wastewater area, perform lockout/tagout, monitor building maintenance, maintaining precision with required tolerances.
The ideal candidate is able to operate tow motors/overhead cranes, ability to use micrometers, height gauges, calipers, has extensive mechanical knowledge, able to communicate well with all three shifts , and ability to respond quickly to emergency situations. He/she must be willing to work any shift as well as overtime/weekends.
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent one-year previous maintenance experience preferably in an industrial setting. Technical degree preferred.

Electrical Maintenance Technician
NASCO is a Japanese company in Bowling Green, KY manufacturing suspension coil springs, trunk lid torsion bars, and transmission disc springs. We have immediate openings on 3rd shift in our Electrical Maintenance department.
This position will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting all electrical machinery.
NASCO is looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance person with excellent PLC, motor control and robotics experience.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot PLC driven equipment
Repair/maintain robotic machines
Improve the running of electrical equipment to reduce down time
Using motor controls to manipulate movement of electric motors
The ideal candidate is able to communicate well with all three shifts , and ability to respond quickly to emergency situations. He/she must be willing to work any shift as well as overtime/weekends.
Required Qualifications: High school diploma and Technical degree is preferred.
One year of electrical experience and One year of PLC experience.

Overhead Crane Operator
NASCO is a Japanese Coil Suspension Spring manufacturer in Bowling Green, KY. We are urgently searching for a 2nd Shift Overhead Crane operator with a Safety mindset, ability to work overtime as required, has excellent attendance, and experience in a factory setting(preferably non-climate controlled).
We are currently working a lot of overtime including some weekends, so good attendance is a must. Training will be done on 1st shift for a few weeks before moving to 2nd shift.
